KACZENSKY, EDWARD S.
FISHERS, Ind. — Edward S. Kaszans, formerly of Denville, died on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at River Walk Nursing Home in Noblesville, Ind. He was 84.
Mr. Kaszans was born in Danville, Conn. and resided in Jersey City, as well as Denville, until moving to Fishers, Ind., two years ago.
He worked as a paper cutter for Format Printing until he retired in 1986.
He was a member of the Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church in Fishers.
Mr. Kaszans was a Marine Raider veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific with “The Mighty First” 1st Marine Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart and a Distinguished Military Service Medal presented by the State of New Jersey.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Gloria (Kelly); his loving children, Debra Crandall and her husband, Steve of Fishers, Ind., Ed and his wife, Rosemary of Brunswick, Ga., and Sharon Conlon and her husband, Mark of Simpsonville, S.C.; and his cherished grandchildren, Ian, Kyle, Ryan, Chloe, Sean, and Dylan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 10:15 a.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visiting hours are on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
