Hurwitz, Charles “Chuck,” formerly of Newton and Lake Worth, FL, late of Westborough. Entered into rest August 11th, 2014. Beloved husband of Rosalie (Bornstein). Devoted father of Martin & Sharon Hurwitz, Stuart & Jill Hurwitz, Susan & Jon Kasle and Linda & Bruce Rosen. Loving brother of the late Abraham “Red” Hurwitz, Milton Hurwitz and Lillian Robinson. Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Amanda, Rachel, Jeremy, Daniel, Andrea, Matthew, Jeffrey, Elan, Joel and great-granddaughters Vivian, Mia and Luci. Served with honor in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Pharmacist’s Mate attached to the 4th Marine Raider Battalion in the South Pacific. Services at Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 East Main St., Westborough on Wednesday, August 13th at 10 AM followed by burial at the Temple Emanuel Section of Lindwood Memorial Park, Randolph. Memorial observance will be at the home of Stuart & Jill Hurwitz on Weds. 2-5 PM and Thurs. 6-8 PM.
