HOOSE, HAROLD F.

PORT ROYAL, Pa. (AP) – a 32-year-old stock car race driver was fatally injured Monday [September 1, 1958] when his auto turned over on a curve during a race at the 104th annual Juniata County fair here.

Dr. Robert Stoner, Juniata County coroner, identified the victim as Harold Hoose of Troy, Pa. He said Hoose was dead on arrival at the F. W. Black Hospital, Lewistown, with fractured skull and crushed chest.
