HANKINS, BILLIE L.

Funeral for William Lee Hankins, 33-year-old victim of a traffic accident in Sunset Beach, Sunday [August 1, 1954], will be held Friday, with service at 2:30 p.m. in Smith’s Mortuary Chapel, Huntington Beach.

Born in Coffeyville, Kan., he had lived in Huntington Beach for several years before moving to the Lakewood area. A former employee of the Post Office Department, he recently had returned from a job in Saudi Arabia.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Marie Roberta; father, William W. Hankins, Coffeyville; two brothers, Ira M. of Huntington Beach, and Ralph, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Monroe.

Interment will be in Westminster Memorial Park.
