CORBETT, JOHN R.

Listed by the War Department as killed in the Pacific July 20 [1943] is Lt. John R. Corbett, son of John T. Corbett, Milwaukee, first vice-president of the National Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Mr. Corbett moved many years ago from Racine to Beloit, where the lieutenant was born and educated. He was one of Col. James Roosevelt’s Marine Corps Raiders, and a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. William Hogan, 1321 Blaine Boulevard.
