CONSIDINE, RAYMOND J.

CORTLAND – Raymond J. Considine, 53, of 7 Crestwood Court, died unexpectedly Thursday [October 19, 1972] at Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.

Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Rosemarie Simmons Considine; a son, Terry Considine; a daughter, Tracey Marie Considine, and a sister, Mrs. John Boehm of Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Considine was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was sales manager for Marine and Industrial Hardware Division of Brewer-Titchener Corp. He was a member of the Cortland Country Club.

He was an overseas veteran of the Marine Corps. He was district sales manager for the Upson-Walton Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, from 1940 to 1955.

From 1955 to 1958, he was sales manager for the Fanner Manufacturing Co., also of Cleveland, Ohio.

In 1958 he joined the staff of Brewer-Titchener Corp. in its Marine Hardware Division.

He was a member of the Forging Industry Association and was on its committee for sales promotion for three years.
