BUTZ, KENNETH H.

Butz, Kenneth H. Our Father Entered the Kingdom of Heaven peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at the age of 92. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ida and his son, Kenneth J. Butz. Ken and Ida had six children, (well planned as he would say): Michele (Bobbie Durrah), Michael (Donna), Renee, Tom (Pam), and Mary Buttler; as well as four grandsons, Ryan (Beth), Michael (Mandie), Kenny (Megan) and John. Further blessings came with 3 great-grandsons, Ryan, Spencer and Henry. He is further survived by a sister, Corrine Irving of Dallas, TX, Sister-in-law, Amy Rompesky of Kenosha, and Arturo Oribiletti of Racine, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Recently tagged with the nickname, “KB”, our dad was hard working as a Firefighter for the City of Milwaukee and he served in the Marine Corps in World War II. A great card player, he was very introspective as a man of few words, but he could win people over easily due to his easy going nature, and his gorgeous blue eyes. Not to mention he and Ida could really cut a rug on the dance floor. Services will be held this Sunday, October 20 in the Chapel at Saint John’s on the Lake. Located at 1840 N. Prospect Ave. in Milwaukee. You can enter on Royall Street into the South Lot for parking. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM. The family will receive guests following the service in the Parlor. Memorials in Ken’s name appreciated to the family and should be directed to M. Buttler, 500 W. Bender Road, #97, Glendale, WI 53217 or the Milwaukee VA.
