GASSO, MICHAEL

WALNUT CREEK Michael Gasso, 47, former director of general accounting for the U.S. Government in New Delhi, India, died yesterday [December 18, 1970] in a local hospital.

Mr. Gasso, of Rossmoor, was a graduate of the University of Southern California and served in the U.S. Marine Corps 1942-45.

He leaves his widow, Elizabeth, of Walnut Creek; and three sisters and three brothers, Minnie and Florence Freeman and Antoinette Afressio, and Roy, Larry and Nicholas Gasso, all of Washington state.

Mr. Gasso was a member of the Rossmoor Golf Club, the International Golf and Country Club of Washington and the New Delhi Golf and Country Club.

Funeral services will be held here at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Oak Park Hills Chapel with the Rev. E. S. Leonard officiating.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
